Role Description The Admission Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Aakash Educational Services Limited center in Guwahati. This role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admission process, including providing accurate information on courses, eligibility criteria, fees, and schedules. The Admission Officer will handle inquiries via in-person meetings, phone calls, and digital channels, conduct counseling sessions, and support enrollment targets by maintaining timely follow-ups and accurate documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining admission records, coordinating with academic and operations teams, supporting admission events and outreach activities, and ensuring a positive experience for all walk-in and registered prospects. The role requires a professional who can represent AESL’s values, maintain high service standards, and contribute to a student-first environment.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, including confident speaking and active listening.
Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle queries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive admission experience.
Candidates should possess knowledge or experience related to educational services, admissions processes, or academic counseling; exposure to international admissions is an added advantage.
Relevant bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Business, Psychology, or related fields) and prior experience in admissions, counseling, or front-office roles in the education sector are beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, email, CRM tools), and the ability to work in a target-driven environment are preferred.
