About the Role
As a Technology Lead at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and driving the development and integration of microservices for our new-age banking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement APIs that enhance customer experience and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and implement APIs for new-age banking solutions.
Demonstrate expertise in software development and engineering.
Apply strong knowledge of API development and integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of API projects.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
Secondary Responsibilities
Support and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Experience
6+ years of proven experience in Banking Financia Services and Insurance
Skills and Attributes
Strong proficiency in Java and API development frameworks.
Experience with API management tools such as Apigee or MuleSoft.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
