Role Description This full-time Events Business Development Executive role is an on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with corporate and institutional clients, and developing proposals and pitches tailored to client event requirements. The Executive will collaborate closely with the events and creative teams to align client expectations with feasible concepts, budgets, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, attending client meetings, managing a sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth handover of confirmed projects to the operations team. The role also requires market research, tracking industry trends, and representing LIVXS at networking events to strengthen the company’s brand and partnerships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and negotiation.
Candidates should possess event-related skills such as understanding event operations, project coordination, and the ability to translate client briefs into workable event concepts.
Candidates should possess communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening to understand client needs.
Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including pipeline management, basic budgeting, forecasting, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
Candidates should possess networking and marketing skills, including attending industry events, building strategic partnerships, and supporting promotional activities when needed.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field, along with prior experience in events, media, or hospitality business development, are highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, meet revenue targets, and maintain a professional, client-focused approach is expected.
