Contracting companies operating on BOQ-based model - High-Rise, Apartments, Villas, Commercial Complexes
PMC companies handling residential & commercial buildings

Key Responsibilities
Quantity estimation & measurement incl. BBS - Bar Bending Schedule - Preparation & checking
Rate analysis for tendering, estimation & costing
Source & validate Chennai market rates - Cement, Steel, Finishing, MEP - Labour & materials
Steel, Cement, Concrete reconciliation & substantiate client claims
Client billing, subcontractor billing, variation claims & cost control
Explain rates, quantities & billing clearly to client, consultant & management
Manage multiple project billing with accuracy & strict timelines
Must Have
15+ years QS - Residential & Commercial building projects only
Strong in quantity take-off, BBS, rate analysis & reconciliation
Good knowledge of current Chennai material & labour rates
AutoCAD - Quantity take-off & drawing understanding - Mandatory
Advanced Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot, Cost Sheets - Mandatory
MS Project - Basic tender schedules & billing trackers
Interview Process
Round 1: HR Screening
Round 2: Technical Test - Quantity take-off, rate analysis, reconciliation & BBS error check
Round 3: Final with MD at Nungambakkam
