Interior Billing Engineer

Role Description The Interior Billing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for preparing and verifying bills of quantities (BOQs), coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of interior works. Day-to-day activities include rate analysis, quantity take-off from drawings, validation of contractor bills, and reconciliation of materials and quantities used. The role also involves maintaining billing records, supporting cost control, and providing timely reports to management to ensure projects stay within budget and comply with contractual terms.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
Experience working with Billing Systems and performing detailed Rate Analysis for interior and civil works.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to validate quantities, identify discrepancies, and support cost optimization.
Relevant educational background, such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and standard estimation/billing software; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with site, design, and procurement teams.
Prior experience in interior projects, fit-outs, or building construction billing will be considered an asset.
