Project Coordinator – Restaurant Project

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Project Coordinator to manage technology / scope writing and execution of a restaurant chain in USA.
The person will act as the central coordination point between Technology and Other teams, ensuring that requirements, tasks, issues, deployments and operational activities are properly tracked and completed on time.
This role does not require deep software development expertise, but the candidate should be excellent in understanding software applications, creating workflows, integrations, bugs and creating scopes, prototypes , wireframes basis on requirements and operational issues.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should be someone who takes ownership rather than simply forwarding emails or messages between teams.
We need a coordinator who can understand an issue, identify the responsible team, follow it through to resolution, keep stakeholders updated and escalate when necessary.
The person should be comfortable asking:
What is the issue? → Who owns it? → What is blocking it? → When will it be completed? → Has it been tested? → Has the customer/operations team confirmed closure?
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination
Coordinate activities between Technology and Business teams.
Maintain project plans, task trackers, timelines and dependencies.
Follow up with respective owners and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
Organize daily/weekly project meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM) with clear action items, owners and due dates.
Track project milestones, deliverables and pending dependencies.
Escalate delays, blockers and critical issues to management proactively.
Technology Coordination
Work closely with developers, QA, technical leads and infrastructure/support teams.
Understand business/operational requirements and ensure they are clearly communicated to the technology team.
Coordinate development, testing, UAT and production releases.
Track bugs, change requests, enhancements and production issues.
Follow up on root-cause analysis and closure of recurring technical problems.
Maintain visibility of release status and communicate planned deployments to relevant stakeholders.
Operations Coordination
Work closely with the business operational team to understand day-to-day issues and requirements.
Track operational incidents and ensure they are assigned to the appropriate technical/support team.
Coordinate resolution of store/site-level issues wherever technology involvement is required.
Ensure critical operational issues receive appropriate priority and escalation.
Maintain issue logs and monitor recurring operational problems.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare daily/weekly project status reports.
Maintain dashboards covering:
Open tasks
Pending issues
Critical incidents
Development status
Bugs and fixes
Upcoming releases
Operational dependencies
Risks and blockers
Communicate clearly with internal teams and business stakeholders.
Ensure there is clear ownership and accountability for every open action item.
Required Skills
2–5 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Management or Technical Coordination.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Experience working with task/project management tools such as Jira, Azure boards.
Understanding of concepts such as APIs, integrations, databases, application releases, UAT, production environments and incident management.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills.
Excellent follow-up and documentation skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
