Job Description: Project Coordinator / Project Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with experience in the insurance domain to support project planning, coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, and day-to-day project activities. The ideal candidate should understand insurance processes and be comfortable coordinating between business teams, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion.
· Assist Project Managers with project planning, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
· Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
· Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
· Coordinate communication between business, IT, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders.
· Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, trackers, and documentation.
· Monitor project timelines and escalate delays or critical issues to the Project Manager.
· Maintain project plans, RAID logs, change requests, and other project artifacts.
· Support requirements gathering and coordinate with Business Analysts and technical teams.
· Assist with UAT planning, execution tracking, defect follow-up, and implementation activities.
· Coordinate project releases, deployments, and post-implementation activities.
· Ensure project documentation is maintained according to organizational standards.
Insurance Domain Responsibilities
· Coordinate projects involving policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, payments, renewals, endorsements, and customer servicing.
· Develop an understanding of insurance business processes and workflows.
· Coordinate with business users and SMEs to clarify requirements and resolve project dependencies.
· Support projects related to insurance applications, digital platforms, process automation, and system integrations.
· Track regulatory, compliance, and business-related project requirements.
· Coordinate data migration, system testing, UAT, and production implementation activities where applicable.
· Work with teams handling policy, claims, underwriting, and customer data to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
Required Skills
· 2–10 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or project support roles.
· Experience in the insurance domain is preferred.
· Good understanding of insurance processes such as policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, billing, and renewals.
· Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project-tracking tools.
· Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar PM/PMO tools is an advantage.
· Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
· Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Management, or a related field.
· Certification such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Scrum is an advantage.
