Job Title: Manager – Taxation
Location: Jaipur
Reporting To: AVP – Taxation & Head – Taxation
Role Overview
We are looking for a Manager – Taxation with 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with prior experience in a CA firm / tax consulting firm. The individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day tax compliances, filings and related tax matters, with a strong focus on GST and Income Tax.
The role requires someone who has hands-on exposure to tax compliance and is comfortable working in a multi-location, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and ensure timely compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations.
Handle preparation and filing of various GST returns, Income Tax returns and other statutory filings.
Ensure timely completion of tax compliances across applicable entities and locations.
Support GST reconciliations, including reconciliation of books with GST returns and identification/resolution of discrepancies.
Assist in handling Income Tax assessments, notices and queries from tax authorities.
Coordinate with external CA firms, tax consultants and auditors on taxation-related matters.
Monitor changes in GST and Income Tax laws, rules and regulations and assess their impact on the business.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax compliances and assessments.
Support the AVP – Taxation & Head – Taxation in tax-related MIS, analysis and reporting.
Assist in tax audits and statutory/internal audits and provide necessary information and documentation.
Ensure adherence to prescribed timelines and maintain a robust tax compliance calendar.
Provide support on other taxation matters and projects as required.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: M. Com / CA Inter
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Background: Candidates who have worked with CA firms / Tax Advisory / Tax Consulting firms will be preferred.
Strong hands-on knowledge of GST and Income Tax compliances.
Experience in GST and Income Tax filings and reconciliations.
Good understanding of applicable tax laws, rules and statutory requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines.
Good analytical, communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders as well as external consultants and CA firms.
