Role Description This full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role is based in Kolkata. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquisition of clients, including retail and high net worth individuals, by understanding their financial goals and recommending suitable products and services. Daily activities include client onboarding, portfolio review meetings, proactive follow-ups, and handling client queries and service requests in a timely and professional manner. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for trade execution, product information, and research insights, while ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met. The Relationship Manager will also focus on business development through lead generation, cross-selling, and building long-term, trust-based client relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong client relationship management and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust, handle queries, and maintain long-term engagement.
Candidates should possess sales and business development skills, such as lead generation, cross-selling, and achieving revenue and portfolio growth targets.
Candidates should possess sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products, including equities, mutual funds, and other wealth management solutions.
Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret client needs, use research insights, and recommend appropriate financial strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in securities or wealth management are an advantage.
Prior experience in broking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles is preferred; familiarity with regulatory requirements and SEBI norms is beneficial.
