Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will partner with our Product, Tech, and Growth teams to unlock insights from data and drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for building dashboards, analyzing data trends, and delivering recommendations that directly impact product innovation, partner growth, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Connect databases (MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery, etc.) to BI and analytics tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau).
Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Metabase to track product adoption, sales performance, partner success, and campaign outcomes.
Perform in-depth Excel analysis (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, advanced formulas).
Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
Use Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.) for automation, analytics, and predictive modeling.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across all reporting systems.
Support A/B testing, funnel analysis, and growth experiments with data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst, preferably in SaaS, Tech, or Analytics-focused environments.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, automation).
Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau).
Proficiency in SQL and good understanding of relational databases.
Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into business insights.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
Exposure to SaaS or API-driven business models.
Experience working closely with product and growth teams in a startup environment.
Familiarity with statistical methods, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks.
