Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and accurate maintenance of financial records in alignment with company policies and statutory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and vendor statements, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves supporting budgeting and forecasting, preparing basic financial reports, coordinating with internal teams on expense tracking, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory obligations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring regular collaboration with management and project teams to provide timely financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong accounting foundations, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to a private limited company.
Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA Inter or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably within a media, marketing, or technology-focused organization.
