Role Description The Senior Data Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining large data sets that support Beta’s product development, business intelligence, and operational decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed data analysis, building and refining data models, and translating data insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and leadership teams. The Senior Data Specialist will also define and implement data management standards, ensure data quality and integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting, dashboards, and analytics workflows. The role involves mentoring team members on data best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of Beta’s data infrastructure and processes.

Candidates should possess solid data management skills to ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
Candidates should possess data modeling expertise to design, optimize, and maintain data structures that support reporting and scalable applications.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field are beneficial.
Experience with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and modern data platforms or warehouses is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are important.
Prior experience in a product-based or software-focused environment and in a senior or lead data role is an advantage.
