Officer, Raw Material, Intake & Supplier Quality

Sunshine Vegetables is hiring an Officer — Raw Material, Intake & Supplier Quality at Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr.
This role sits at the tipping dock, not in the laboratory. For frozen vegetables the largest single quality lever is what you accept at intake — once poor raw material has been blanched, nothing downstream recovers it. Everything after that point is damage limitation.
Under our FSSC 22000 system, supplier approval and incoming material control are yours to hold up.
What the role owns:
- Grading incoming carrot and vegetable loads against a written acceptance specification — variety, maturity, size, defect count, foreign matter, soil
- Accept, downgrade or reject decisions at the dock, and the conversation with the farmer that follows
- Farm and vendor approval, the supplier audit programme, and keeping the approved supplier list current and evidenced
- Good Agricultural Practice with our 517 contract farmers, and the pre-harvest checks that go with it
- The pesticide residue sampling plan, by crop and by supplier, and the interface with our external NABL laboratory
What we are looking for:
- 3–8 years in fruit and vegetable quality — processing, procurement or organised retail intake
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture or Food Technology
- You can grade produce by eye and then defend that judgement in writing, with an AQL limit attached
- You are willing to work with farmers directly, in the field and at the dock, in Hindi
What will make you stand out:
- Experience inside a processing plant rather than only in supply chain or distribution
- Pesticide MRL sampling, GLOBALG.A.P. or export residue compliance
- Supplier audit experience against a documented standard
Compensation as per experience. On-site at Sikandrabad; some travel across the cluster — Bulandshahr, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Hathras and Aligarh.
