About Us:
Concept Dash is a leader in innovative architectural solutions, committed to delivering exceptional designs and immersive experiences.
The Impact You’ll Have
This isn’t an app that helps people order food faster. The product you build will sit at the intersection of neuroscience and daily life — helping women understand and improve their brain health in a field where they’ve been overlooked for decades. Every screen you ship, every hardware integration you get right, directly shapes whether someone gets insight into their own mind that medicine has never offered them before.
You’ll be one of the first engineers on a product with the potential to close a decades-old gap in brain science. The data flowing through your code could contribute to the largest effort yet to represent women’s brains in neuroscience — and the interface you design is how millions of women could first experience neurotechnology. Few engineering roles let you draw a straight line from your commits to systemic change in mental health. This one does.
The Team You’ll Join
You’ll work alongside a world-class mental health team — neuroscientists, clinicians, researchers, and engineers who have dedicated their careers to understanding the brain and closing the gender gap in brain health. This means your day-to-day includes conversations most developers never get to have: reviewing features with scientists who study the very signals your app displays, and building alongside people who deeply understand the problem you’re solving.
We’re a small, mission-driven team, which means your voice carries. You won’t be a ticket-taker — you’ll help shape the product, the architecture, and the company itself.
The Role
We’re looking for a mid-level Mobile Developer (2–4 years of experience) to build our iOS and Android app. Our primary stack is React Native, but we’re open to building in other native mobile languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java) where it makes sense — what matters is shipping a great mobile experience. You’ll own front-end development end to end, connect the app to our backend services, and help integrate it with the neurotechnology hardware our team is building.
What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain our mobile app for iOS and Android — primarily in React Native, with native code where it serves the product best
• Translate designs into polished, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Integrate the front end with our backend services and APIs, including authentication, data sync, and real-time features
• Help integrate the app with our hardware systems — device pairing, data streaming, and communication over Bluetooth/BLE and native bridges if needed
• Write native modules or work with Java/Kotlin on the Android side when React Native alone isn’t enough
• Test, debug, and profile the app across devices, and support releases to the App Store and Google Play
• Collaborate with design, backend, and hardware teammates to shape the product as it grows
What You Bring
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience, with solid production experience in React Native or comparable native mobile development
• Working knowledge of Java (Android native modules, debugging, or backend exposure)
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and experience with state management, navigation, and API integration in mobile apps
• Experience shipping apps to the App Store and/or Google Play
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment — taking ownership, wearing multiple hats, and learning as you go
• Care for the mission: building technology that improves mental health, especially for women
• Experience integrating mobile apps with hardware or wearables (Bluetooth/BLE, sensors, streaming data)
• Deeper experience in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin for fully native development
• Exposure to health, wellness, or regulated-data products (e.g., HIPAA/PHIPA awareness)
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, EAS, App Center, etc.)
Details
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Remote
Send us your resume along with links to apps you’ve built or shipped (App Store, Google Play, or GitHub). A short note on why this mission matters to you goes a long way.
