Role Description This full-time Golang Developer (Fintech) role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The developer will design, build, and maintain backend services and microservices using Go, focusing on secure, scalable financial applications and transaction processing systems. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and implementing robust error handling and logging. The role also involves collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams, participating in code reviews, contributing to technical design discussions, and adhering to compliance and security standards common in fintech environments. The developer will monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve architecture, reliability, and developer tooling.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Golang, including experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
Knowledge of fintech or financial domain concepts such as payments, ledgers, reconciliation, or transaction processing.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and data protection in financial applications.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), automated testing, and monitoring/logging tools.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and document technical designs clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and cross-functional team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a fintech startup or financial services organization is an advantage.
