About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Tester (QA Automation) to join our team in Hyderabad. If you have a strong background in automation testing, industrial communication protocols, and network protocol validation, this is an excellent opportunity to work on complex industrial and communication software.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute manual and automation test cases.
Perform system integration, regression, and protocol testing.
Validate industrial communication and file transfer protocols.
Conduct network packet analysis and protocol validation.
Test applications in Docker-based environments.
Perform database testing using ODBC.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile CI/CD environment.
Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols:
Modbus
IEC 61850
DNP3
SNMP
Experience with file transfer protocols:
FTP, FTPS, SFTP, TFTP, HTTP
ASCII Protocols, YMODEM, XMODEM
Expertise in network testing and protocol validation using:
Wireshark
tcpdump
Experience working in Agile and CI/CD environments.
Preferred Experience
Industrial Automation, SCADA, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems.
Testing C# / C++ based communication systems.
Strong debugging and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
