You are responsible for supporting the daily florist operations by preparing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality floral arrangements for guest suites, public areas, restaurants, events, and special occasions. . Minimum of 2 years of experience in the florist department of a hospitality establishment
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Attend daily briefings and stay updated on floral requirements, VIP arrivals, events, and special occasions.
Assist in preparing bouquets, floral arrangements, flower baskets, centerpieces, and decorative displays according to hotel standards.
Prepare and maintain floral arrangements for guest suites, public areas, restaurants, events, and other designated hotel areas.
Ensure all flowers and arrangements are fresh, elegant, well-presented, and replaced when necessary.
Receive and inspect flowers, plants, vases, and floral supplies for quality, quantity, and condition.
Properly condition, trim, hydrate, rotate, and store flowers to maintain freshness and minimize wastage.
Maintain the florist workshop, flower chiller, flower shop, storage areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
Assist with the care and maintenance of indoor plants and decorative plants throughout the hotel.
Prepare and deliver guest floral orders accurately and within the required service delivery time.
Support floral setup and dismantling for weddings, banquets, festive celebrations, VIP events, and special hotel functions.
Monitor floral supplies and report low stock, damaged items, or replenishment requirements to the Florist Manager.
Handle floral tools, equipment, and materials safely and comply with hotel hygiene, safety, and security procedures.
Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure all floral requirements are completed on time.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Florist Manager or Housekeeping Management. To report any suspicious activities to the appropriate department.
