Job Description
HVAC Design Engineer
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with 8–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC design and engineering, preferably having worked on Thermal Power Plant, Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP/CCGT), Gas Power Plant or other industrial power projects.
Key Responsibilities -
Perform HVAC system design and engineering for power generation and industrial projects.
Carry out heat load calculations and HVAC system sizing. Design and develop HVAC layouts, ductwork and piping systems.
Select and size AHUS, FCUS, chillers, pumps, fans and other HVAC equipment. Prepare and review HVAC equipment datasheets, specifications, BOQ and Design Basis Reports (DBR).
Prepare and review HVAC drawings using Autocad. Develop and review Revit/Revit MEP models and coordinate MEP drawings.
Design ventilation and air-conditioning systems for industrial and power plant areas. Coordinate HVAC design with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Piping and Instrumentation disciplines.
Review vendor drawings, technical documents and equipment submittals.
Ensure HVAC designs comply with applicable project specifications, ASHRAE/ISHRAE and relevant standards. Support technical discussions with
