Role Description This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Pune. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, including theme and plugin configuration, performance optimization, and security best practices. Day-to-day tasks include translating design mockups into responsive pages, implementing front-end functionalities, integrating back-end features, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to support campaigns, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve user experience and site performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Web Development skills, including experience working with WordPress as a CMS.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern UI frameworks.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP, MySQL, and integration with APIs or third-party services.
Candidates should possess Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create visually appealing, mobile-friendly, and accessible layouts.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development or customization is highly desirable.
Knowledge of website performance optimization, SEO best practices, and security principles is beneficial.
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A relevant degree or certification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, along with 1–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
