Experience: Maximum 8 Years of relevant experience
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
Preferred: Experience in PMC / Project Management Consultancy
Job Overview
We are looking for a Planning Engineer – Civil with strong project planning and scheduling skills, hands-on knowledge of MS Project (MSP), and a good understanding of construction activities and site sequencing.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, develop, and regularly update project schedules using MS Project (MSP).
Prepare and maintain Gantt Charts, baseline schedules, and progress schedules.
Understand and plan proper construction sequencing, including Civil works followed by MEP, finishing, architectural, and other activities.
Apply basic planning techniques such as Critical Path Method (CPM) and identify critical activities.
Monitor planned vs. actual project progress and highlight delays or schedule deviations.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and track project milestones.
Assist in identifying schedule risks and developing recovery plans for delayed activities.
Required Skills & Experience
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/project planning.
Strong working knowledge of MS Project (MSP).
Good understanding of construction methodology, activity sequencing, and project scheduling.
Knowledge of CPM, Gantt Charts, project monitoring, and progress tracking.
Good interpersonal, coordination, and written communication skills in English.
Experience with Residential, Commercial, and Institutional projects is preferred.
PMC experience is preferred.
