Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Artificial Intelligence Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI models that enhance GuavaSure’s pet wellness and support services, including intelligent triage, recommendation systems, and personalized care insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing algorithms, implementing neural network architectures, and applying pattern recognition techniques to pet health and behavior data. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and veterinary teams to translate real-world requirements into scalable AI solutions, integrating models into production software systems, and monitoring performance to ensure reliability and safety. The engineer will also stay current with advances in AI and NLP, experiment with new approaches, and contribute to data quality, documentation, and best practices.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Computer Science with experience in Software Development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar languages, plus version control and testing).
Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including designing, training, and evaluating models on real-world datasets.
Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, intent detection, and conversational AI for support or advisory systems.
Strong understanding of machine learning principles, data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods; familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and produce clean, maintainable code.
Experience with deploying models to production (APIs, microservices, cloud platforms) and monitoring their performance is highly beneficial.
Interest in pet wellness or healthcare technology, and a willingness to work with sensitive user and health-related data in a responsible manner.
