About the Role
The role involves supporting the delivery of electrical design projects across different sectors and project stages. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical building services, good technical skills, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering design, including relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution systems, including load analysis, panel schedules, and cable sizing.
Experience with CAD and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and familiarity with design documentation processes.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings, and to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
Experience in construction project environments or consulting roles, preferably involving building projects, is beneficial.
Candidate Profile
3–6 years of Middle East experience in Electrical Building Services / MEP consultancy.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong technical knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, small power and electrical building services.
Good understanding of relevant standards, codes and design practices, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, coordination and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
