Payroll & HR Operations Executive – Service Department
Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end payroll and HR operations for the Service Department, supporting field service engineers deployed across customer locations. The role manages payroll, statutory compliance, onboarding, employee lifecycle, HRIS, grievances, attendance, and coordination with Operations to ensure smooth workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
∙ Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for service employees across multiple entities and locations.
∙ Collect, validate and process attendance, overtime, shift data, incentives, reimbursements and leave inputs.
∙ Coordinate with customers/plant representatives to obtain attendance and deployment records.
∙ Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity and other labour laws.
∙ Manage onboarding, documentation, induction, background verification and employee file creation.
∙ Create employee codes (E-codes), maintain employee master data and update HRIS.
∙ Process confirmations, transfers, salary revisions and employee data changes.
∙ Handle employee exits, Full & Final Settlement, exit interviews and relieving documentation.
∙Resolve payroll queries, employee grievances and HR-related concerns of field employees.
∙Maintain regular connect with field/service engineers and provide HR support throughout the employee lifecycle.
∙Coordinate with Operations, KAMs, Finance and Business Heads for manpower planning and payroll inputs.
∙Prepare payroll MIS, statutory reports, HR dashboards and audit documentation.
∙Support internal and external audits and maintain statutory records.
∙ Drive HR process improvements and ensure adherence to company policies.
