Frontend Developer

About the Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team and help build, improve, and scale modern web applications. You’ll work closely with an existing codebase, develop new product features, integrate APIs, troubleshoot real-world frontend issues, and continuously improve application performance and user experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in JavaScript and React.js, hands-on experience with Next.js and TypeScript, and the ability to quickly understand, debug, and improve an existing application. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving problems, shipping features quickly, working independently, and learning new technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
Build and ship new features based on product and business requirements
Understand and work effectively within an existing codebase
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend application issues
Integrate REST APIs and backend services
Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components
Work with shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS
Improve application performance, usability, reliability, and overall user experience
Work with Git, GitHub, pull requests, and branching workflows
Participate in CI/CD workflows and application deployments
Work with GitHub Actions
Collaborate closely with product, backend, and engineering teams
Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools, to improve development speed and quality
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of professional frontend development experience
Strong fundamentals in JavaScript
Strong practical experience with React.js
Hands-on experience with Next.js
Good working knowledge of TypeScript
JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js are mandatory
Good understanding of HTML and CSS
Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations
Experience building reusable frontend components
Exposure to shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS
Good working knowledge of Git and GitHub
Basic understanding of CI/CD and GitHub Actions
Ability to independently navigate and understand an existing codebase
Ability to identify, debug, and fix application issues
Ability to understand product requirements and convert them into working features
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
AI-Assisted Development
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar AI coding tools is a strong advantage.
