The Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar) MES Expert will be responsible for the plan, design, configuration, development, and testing of the Opcenter application. This role will work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth implementation and maintenance of the application. Also, this role will work with Siemens integration technology (AIG – T4ST, CN4T & CN4S) to enable closed loop manufacturing.
Key job Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, configure, implement, develop and maintain Siemens Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) application to meet the needs of the company's operations.
• Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
• Install and configure Opcenter Core & Electronics high availability
• Support the operations team to test and accept new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
• Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on the business.
• Monitor the Opcenter Core & Electronics application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
• Maintain documentation for the key applications.
• Follow industry leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core & Electronics
• Collaborate with global IT team (including Opcenter Core & Electronics experts) for Opcenter Core & Electronics MES projects and support activities.
• Train junior or new members of the team and users as required.
• Support analytics.
Mandatary Skills:
• 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) application.
• Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementation.
• Proficiency in Modelling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
• Experience and knowledge in Opcenter Core Designer.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
• Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent is preferred
