The MES Senior Developer/Techno-functional consultant will be responsible for the development, customization, configuration and enhancement of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) using MPDV Hydra X software. This role involves coding, testing, and deploying MES solutions, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The Senior Developer will work closely with technical architects, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality MES solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Customization
• Develop and customize MES solutions using Hydra X software to meet specific project requirements.
• Configure and deploy different modules of MES.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed and deployed solutions.
Technical Documentation
• Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of development activities and changes for future reference.
System Integration
• Integrate MES solutions with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, PLM, and SCADA.
• Ensure proper data flow and interoperability between MES and other systems.
• Integrate shopfloor data with MES (Machin Integration knowledge).
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
• Provide technical support and assistance to resolve any issues related to MES solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Collaboration and Communication
• Work closely with technical architects, project managers, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on development progress and challenges.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MES development (Preferred Hydra).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#/JSON/REST/Java/Javascript and SQL.
• Experience with system integration and data interoperability.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
