Piping Design Engineer / Piping Draftsman (Pharma Projects)

We are helping our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company in Pune, to hire Piping Design Engineer and Piping Draftsman for their Projects & Engineering Department.
1. Piping Design Engineer
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical / Piping Engineering with 8–10 years of relevant experience
OR
B.E./B.Tech with 6–8 years of relevant experience
Relevant experience working with consultancy firms and pharmaceutical projects
Key Requirements:
Conceptual and detailed designing of Clean Utility systems, including WFI & Pure Steam generation and distribution
Conceptual and detailed designing of Black Utility systems, including Steam, Chilled Water, Hot Water, Condensate, Drain, Gases and their distribution
Preparation of utility data and layouts for various process equipment
Preparation of design specifications, sizing calculations, concept notes, P&IDs and isometric drawings
Detailing of fabrication, structural platforms, skids, base frames, piping supports, etc.
Preparation of BOQs, MTOs and technical documents
Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
Good knowledge of piping standards and codes, ANSI, USP, ASME B31.3, IBR, ASME BPE, EN 285 and ISPE
Ability to work independently and coordinate with on-site stakeholders
2. Piping Draftsman
Qualification & Experience:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Piping
6–8 years of relevant experience
Relevant experience working with consultancy firms and pharmaceutical projects
Key Requirements:
Conceptual and detailed designing of Clean Utility and Black Utility systems – Layout Engineering
Detailing of piping, equipment fabrication, structural platforms, skids, base frames, piping supports, etc.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
Good knowledge of piping standards and codes, ANSI and USP
Ability to work independently on Layout Engineering as per P&IDs
Ability to prepare Piping GA & Isometric drawings independently
