Role Description The Website Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for managing and updating the company website, ensuring accurate product listings, smooth user experience, and alignment with Karnam’s brand and sustainability values. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining content across pages, coordinating product launches and campaigns, monitoring site performance, and collaborating with design, marketing, and operations teams. The Website Manager will track key metrics, improve navigation and layout, support e-commerce functions such as catalog updates and promotions, and troubleshoot website issues with internal and external partners. The role also involves implementing best practices for accessibility, SEO, and performance to support Karnam’s growth and customer engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Content Management skills, including maintaining product catalogs, updating pages, and ensuring brand-consistent copy and visuals.
Candidates should possess Web Design and user experience skills to optimize site layout, navigation, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Candidates should possess Web Analytics skills to track traffic, conversion, and user behavior, and use insights to improve performance.
Candidates should possess E-Commerce skills to manage online storefront operations, product listings, promotions, and basic order-flow coordination.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate website initiatives, work with cross-functional teams, and meet timelines and quality standards.
Relevant experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, or similar), basic HTML/CSS, and SEO best practices is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented and user-centric approach.
Prior experience in fashion, textiles, or sustainability-focused brands, and a demonstrated interest in ethical and environmental principles is a plus.
