Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires overseeing the development and documentation of security controls tailored for cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and transition to managed cloud security operations. The position demands continuous evaluation of security architecture to support business needs while maintaining optimal performance and compliance within the cloud infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
Lead the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall security expertise and capabilities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align security architecture with evolving business strategies and regulatory requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
Experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures and frameworks.
Strong knowledge of security controls, risk management, and compliance standards relevant to cloud environments.
Ability to analyze security incidents and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response processes.
Skilled in collaborating across teams to integrate security solutions within complex IT infrastructures.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
