Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in New Delhi in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and components. Typical responsibilities include creating and reviewing engineering drawings, performing mechanical calculations, and using CAD tools to design parts and assemblies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and performance requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in research and development activities, assist in project planning, track progress against milestones, and prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong core Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including fundamentals of mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics.
Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies.
Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and data-driven performance improvement.
Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as planning tasks, coordinating resources, and meeting timelines and quality standards.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; advanced degrees or certifications in CAD/CAE tools are an advantage.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Prior experience in industrial, automotive, or machinery-related projects is beneficial, along with proficiency in common engineering software and MS Office.
