Process Excellence Director

Role Description The Process Excellence Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, leading, and sustaining process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven solutions to optimize performance, quality, and member experience. The director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to map workflows, standardize procedures, implement best practices, and monitor key performance indicators. They will lead workshops, train stakeholders on process methodologies, and ensure that continuous improvement principles are embedded in daily operations. The role also includes preparing executive-level reports, supporting strategic planning with process insights, and championing a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Business Process Improvement and Business Process design, with experience defining, mapping, and documenting end-to-end workflows.
Proficiency in Process Optimization and Process Engineering, including the ability to redesign processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with capability to interpret data, identify trends, and build actionable recommendations supported by metrics.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and process management tools or platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
