Director of Operations

Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring efficient, scalable processes across the organization. This role will design and implement operational systems, manage budgets and resource allocation, and track performance metrics to support strategic goals. The Director of Operations will lead and develop cross-functional teams, coordinate workflow, and drive continuous improvement in member experience and internal operations. The position will collaborate closely with leadership to align operations with organizational priorities, manage vendor relationships, and optimize customer service standards. The Director of Operations will also identify risks, propose solutions, and support planning for future growth.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills, including process design, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
Analytical Skills to interpret data, build reports, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Team Management experience, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Budgeting expertise to plan, manage, and track operational and project-related expenses.
Customer Service orientation, with a focus on enhancing member experience and resolving issues effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within operations, community organizations, startups, or similar settings.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for remote collaboration, project management, and data analysis.
