Job Purpose/ Summary
Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems in the sinter plant and metallics. The role involves planning and executing preventive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards.
Job Description
The Engineer in Electrical Maintenance plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems within the sinter plant and metallics. This position demands a proactive approach to planning and executing both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. The primary objective is to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability while adhering to stringent safety and statutory standards. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory acts and laws, ensuring compliance at all times. The Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance programs that optimize equipment performance and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns. Collaboration with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams is essential to ensure timely project completion. The role also involves managing conflicts and making critical decisions to maintain smooth departmental operations. A strong focus on safety, operational standards, and continuous improvement is crucial for success in this position.
