Role Description The Lead .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC applications, with a strong emphasis on AWS-based architectures and Python integrations. This full-time remote contract role involves leading technical solutions, reviewing code, setting development best practices, and mentoring developers on object-oriented design and cloud-native patterns. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into scalable software, optimizing performance, and ensuring high standards of security, reliability, and test coverage. The role also includes working closely with DevOps and architecture teams to refine AWS deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), general Programming principles, and Software Development lifecycle practices.
Hands-on experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC for building scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.
Significant experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway) and Python for automation, integration, or backend services.
Ability to lead technical discussions, provide mentorship, and make architectural decisions in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency with source control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in contract-based or consulting environments and familiarity with agile or scrum methodologies is beneficial.
