Role Description The Reservations Ticketing Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. The agent is responsible for managing reservations and ticketing for guests, including booking travel services, confirming itineraries, and updating reservation records in company systems. Daily tasks include responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person, providing information on travel options, pricing, and availability, and ensuring accurate issuance of tickets and vouchers. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve booking issues, process changes or cancellations, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The agent is expected to follow company policies, meet service and sales targets, and maintain organized, up-to-date documentation for all reservations.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
GDS Knowledge and experience - Sabre, Galileo
Hands-on experience or strong aptitude in Reservations and Ticketing, including managing bookings, changes, and cancellations using reservation systems.
Customer Service skills focused on patience, problem-solving, and delivering a positive experience throughout the booking process.
Knowledge or background in Travel & Tourism, such as familiarity with common travel products, routes, and tourism practices.
Sales skills, including the ability to recommend suitable services, upsell relevant packages, and work towards revenue goals.
Basic computer proficiency and comfort with reservation software, email, and office applications.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and queries simultaneously.
Prior experience in a reservations, ticketing, or front office role in travel, hospitality, or airlines is an advantage.
Certificate, diploma, or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
