🚀 We’re Hiring | Application Engineer – Additive Manufacturing
Champ3D is looking for an experienced and technically strong Application Engineer to join our team and drive advanced Design-to-Manufacturing & 3D Printing workflows.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) & 3D model optimization
• Build preparation, slicing, nesting & support generation
• Hands-on expertise in SLA, SLM, SLS, MJF, FDM & DLP technologies
• CAD modeling using SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or PTC Creo
• Mesh repair, file healing & print-readiness optimization
• Reverse engineering & 3D scanning workflows
• Vacuum Casting & secondary manufacturing processes
• Client consultation and technical solution development
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in a 3D Printing Service Bureau
• Strong practical knowledge of DfAM & Additive Manufacturing
• Experience with Magics, Meshmixer or nTopology
• Knowledge of Rhino, ZBrush or Blender is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of support strategies, warping & shrinkage
• Practical experience in Vacuum Casting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is an added advantage
