JD Information Technology Solution & Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose
Lead strategic IT procurement initiatives while providing technical understanding across IT infrastructure, software, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking and enterprise technology solutions. The role combines IT procurement, sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiation and technology solution understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and explore appropriate technology solutions.
Manage end-to-end procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, telecom, IT professional services, maintenance and support contracts.
Translate business and technical requirements into sourcing specifications and procurement actions.
Manage RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation and selection processes.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, renewals, warranties, SLAs and other contractual terms.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows and governance requirements.
Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, particularly around data privacy, information security, IP, liability, SLAs and termination rights.
Monitor vendor performance, contract compliance, delivery quality and issue resolution.
Maintain contracts, quotations, POs, renewals, savings and vendor-performance records.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, controls and cycle times.

Positive stakeholder feedback from IT, Procurement, Legal and Finance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related discipline.
Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contract Management, IT Asset Management or Vendor Management preferred.
