Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager Rewards to support and drive Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits and compensation analytics initiatives. The role will be responsible for compensation benchmarking, salary structures, pay analysis, incentive programs, job evaluation and data-driven rewards decisions.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, excellent MS Excel skills and a good understanding of compensation practices and market trends.
Key Responsibilities Compensation & Total Rewards
Support the development and implementation of Total Rewards strategies aligned with business and talent objectives.
Design, review and maintain compensation structures, salary bands and pay scales.
Analyse compensation positioning and recommend appropriate salary actions.
Conduct Comp Ratio analysis and identify compensation gaps and inconsistencies.
Support pay equity analysis across functions, grades and employee groups.
Analyse internal and external compensation data to support reward decisions.
Market Benchmarking
Conduct market compensation benchmarking using relevant salary surveys and external market data.
Work with salary survey providers such as Mercer, WTW, Radford and other market sources.
Analyse market positioning and recommend appropriate salary ranges.
Track compensation trends and provide insights on market competitiveness.
Job Evaluation & Grading
Support job evaluation, job sizing and grading exercises.
Work with established methodologies such as Hay Method / Mercer IPE.
Analyse roles for internal equity and appropriate grade positioning.
Support maintenance of job architecture and salary structures.
Variable Pay & Incentives
Support design and administration of variable pay, incentive and bonus programs.
Analyse incentive payouts, performance outcomes and program effectiveness.
Develop financial models to assess the cost and impact of compensation programs.
Support annual compensation and incentive planning cycles.
Executive Compensation & Equity
Support analysis of executive compensation and senior-level reward structures.
Assist with equity-based compensation programs, including ESOPs, RSUs and stock options, where applicable.
Maintain compensation models and reports for senior management.
Analytics, Modelling & Reporting
Develop sophisticated Excel-based compensation models and dashboards.
Conduct data modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
Prepare HR metrics and management dashboards related to compensation and rewards.
Analyse compensation costs, trends, employee positioning and financial impact.
Translate complex compensation data into clear business insights and recommendations.

Strong experience in Excel-based financial and compensation modelling.
Consulting experience in Rewards / Compensation will also be considered.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be a highly analytical Rewards professional who combines strong compensation knowledge with excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
They should be able to independently analyse compensation data, understand internal equity and external market competitiveness, build robust models and dashboards, and convert data into actionable recommendations for the business.
