Role Description The Collection Executive is responsible for managing fee collections and payment follow-ups from students and other stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include contacting learners via phone, email, and messaging platforms, resolving queries related to outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records of collections in internal systems. The role also involves coordinating with academic and support teams to verify payment status, updating relevant documentation, and preparing basic reports on collection performance. The Collection Executive is expected to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality, maintain professional communication, and contribute to process improvements in the collections workflow. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with students and stakeholders and handle payment-related discussions effectively.
Candidates should possess basic financial and accounting awareness, including understanding invoices, due dates, payment modes, and reconciliation of records.
Candidates should possess good data entry and documentation skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets, CRM tools, or other collection management systems accurately.
Candidates should possess problem-solving and negotiation skills to address disputes, clarify outstanding amounts, and encourage timely payment resolutions.
Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to manage multiple follow-ups, prioritize tasks, and meet collection targets within defined timelines.
Relevant experience in collections, customer service, telecalling, or education services will be beneficial.
A minimum of a high school diploma; a graduate degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred.
Comfort working in an on-site, target-driven environment and familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Office, email, and internet tools).
