West Operations Manager : Reverse

Role Description The West Operations Manager: Reverse will oversee reverse logistics operations for the West region, with primary responsibility for the Mumbai location. This full-time, on-site role involves managing daily reverse flow of goods, including returns processing, pickup coordination, and routing to appropriate hubs or warehouses. The position includes monitoring operational performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to service-level agreements and quality standards. The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as warehousing, customer service, and line-haul to resolve issues and improve turnaround times. Key responsibilities also include team leadership, capacity planning, reporting and analysis of regional metrics, vendor and partner coordination, and implementation of operational best practices aligned with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
Strong operational management capabilities with experience in logistics, supply chain, or reverse logistics in a regional or multi-site role.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of logistics or warehouse management systems to drive decisions and process improvements.
Demonstrated people leadership skills, including team supervision, performance management, and training and development.
Ability to manage stakeholders and partners, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain customer-centric service standards.
Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and service-level commitments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages in the West region is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
Experience in e-commerce or express logistics operations, particularly in returns or reverse logistics, is highly beneficial.
Comfort with on-site work in Mumbai and willingness to travel within the West region as operational needs require.
