Role Description
The Senior Executive – Reverse Logistics is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing multiple reverse logistics hubs across the assigned cluster. The role focuses on ensuring smooth pickup operations, timely shipment movement, hub productivity, and achievement of operational targets.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor daily pickup volumes, productivity, pickup success rate, and pending/ageing shipments.
Ensure hubs achieve daily and monthly performance targets.
Manage manpower, rider allocation, attendance, capacity, and route planning.
Monitor Supervisor and performance and ensure accountability.
Identify operational gaps and take corrective actions to improve productivity and service quality.
Handle escalations related to missed pickups, delayed shipments, and customer issues.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality, safety, and company policies.
Conduct regular hub visits and performance reviews.
Mentor and develop Supervisors to improve overall team performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably handling multi-site or cluster-level responsibilities.
Strong skills in team leadership, people management, and stakeholder coordination, with the ability to motivate and develop frontline and supervisory staff.
Capability in planning, organizing, and problem-solving, including managing daily operations, optimizing routes, and improving turnaround times.
Comfort with data analysis and performance tracking using dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive decisions and operational improvements.
Familiarity with logistics technology platforms, warehouse management systems, and last-mile delivery tools is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and external client interactions, with a customer-centric mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, operations, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage pressure during peak volumes, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Willingness to be on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and travel within the cluster as required.
