Role Description The Wealth Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Siliguri. The Wealth Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of clients by understanding their financial goals, risk profiles, and investment preferences, and recommending appropriate products and strategies. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, reviewing portfolios, providing market and product updates, and implementing asset allocation and rebalancing plans. The role also involves collaborating with internal research teams, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Wealth Manager will be expected to build new client relationships, deepen existing ones, and contribute to overall business growth targets.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of investment products and services, including mutual funds, equities, derivatives, bonds, and other wealth management solutions.
Proficiency in financial planning, portfolio analysis, asset allocation, and risk assessment to design suitable wealth strategies for clients.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills to engage with diverse clients and explain complex concepts clearly.
Ability to use trading platforms, CRM tools, and basic office software for client servicing, reporting, and documentation.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to SEBI, AMFI, and other relevant authorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, NISM, NCFM) are an advantage.
Prior experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or investment services, preferably in a brokerage or financial services environment.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work towards performance targets in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
