Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect (AUTO CAD) role based in Chandigarh. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of interior and architectural plans for residential and commercial projects, preparing detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and related design tools. Responsibilities include assisting with concept development, translating design briefs into technical drawings, coordinating with senior architects and designers, and updating drawings based on feedback and site requirements. The role also involves collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate integration of structural and interior elements, maintaining documentation, and supporting project workflows from design through execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong focus on interior layouts and building planning.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as they relate to CAD tools, design software, and efficient file management workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including basic planning, task coordination, and time management within a design and construction environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other design software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is highly beneficial.
A degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret design concepts into technical drawings, and willingness to learn from senior team members.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams in Chandigarh.
