Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of interior and architectural projects, working closely with senior team members to develop plans for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in conceptual design, preparing drawings and 3D layouts, coordinating with vendors and site teams, and helping ensure that designs align with client requirements and project timelines. The role also involves participating in site visits, documenting project progress, and contributing to design presentations and material selections. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, requiring regular collaboration with design and construction teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings and plans.
Understanding of Project Management principles, including basic scheduling, coordination, and task tracking for design and execution phases.
Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools or BIM workflows is an advantage, though not mandatory.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of 3D visualization tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from a recognized institution.
Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and an eye for aesthetics and functionality.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
