Team Manager

Role Description The Team Manager role at North Star is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Team Manager oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates project activities, and ensures service delivery related to transformer lifecycle management meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include leading and developing a multidisciplinary team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving operational issues in collaboration with technical experts and clients. The role involves regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports and documentation, tracking performance metrics, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Team Manager also contributes to planning resources, optimizing workflows, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Strong team leadership, people management, and coaching skills to guide and support a diverse workforce.
Experience in operations or project management, including planning, task allocation, and monitoring timelines and deliverables.
Knowledge of electrical power systems or transformer-related services, or willingness to learn industry-specific concepts.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical experts, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and improve processes.
Proficiency with basic office productivity tools and ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a focus on safety and quality.
