Mechanical Fitter - Plant Maintenance
3 Positions | S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd. | Chopanki/Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for its manufacturing facility at Chopanki/Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. We need practical, hands-on maintenance technicians with experience in operating manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance and repair of pumps, mechanical seals, bearings and couplings
• Dismantling, inspection and assembly of rotating equipment
• Alignment of pumps, motors and couplings
• Maintenance of valves, pipelines, tanks and agitators
• Filling machines, conveyors, cappers and packaging equipment
• Gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts and mechanical drives
• Pneumatic cylinders, air lines and associated equipment
• Preventive maintenance, lubrication and inspection
• Attending breakdowns and restoring equipment quickly and safely
• Assisting in equipment installation and modification
• Working with the pipe welder/fabricator on piping and fabrication jobs
Candidate Profile
• ITI Fitter / Mechanical trade qualification preferred
• 5-10 years of practical maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
• Experience with pumps, piping and production machinery is particularly desirable
• Should be capable of independently identifying and rectifying routine mechanical problems
• Candidates with only construction/site-fitting experience would not be suitable
We intend to build complementary capability within the three positions: one person strong in pumps/seals/rotating equipment, one in filling and packaging machinery, and one in piping/tanks/general plant maintenance.
