Job Title: ERP Functional QA Tester
Location: Chennai (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are looking for an ERP Functional QA Tester to validate the customizations and configurations on ERP platform for client implementations. You'll work closely with implementation consultants and developers to test business workflows against client requirements and ensuring every customization actually works the way the client's business runs, before it goes live.
We need someone who understands core business processes — accounting, buying, selling, manufacturing in particular and can think like an end user (accountant, production supervisor, storekeeper) to catch functional gaps.
Key Responsibilities
· Review client requirement documents/BRDs and translate them into test scenarios and test cases
· Test end-to-end business flows for customizations built on the ERP (forms, workflows, reports, print formats, permissions, email automations)
· Validate manufacturing flows: BOM (Bill of Materials), Work Order, Job Card, material consumption, production stock movement
· Validate accounting flows: sales/purchase invoicing, payments, journal entries, ledger impact, GST/tax calculations, stock-to-accounts reconciliation
· Validate Buying flows: Sales order to Sales Invoice conversion
· Perform functional, integration, and regression testing before client UAT and go-live
· Log defects clearly (steps to reproduce, expected vs actual result) and track them to closure with the dev team
· Support clients during UAT by clarifying flows and re-validating fixes
· Maintain test case documentation and sign-off checklists for each client deliverable
What We're Looking For
· 1–2 years of experience in an accounting, manufacturing/production, or ERP functional/support role
· Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (invoices, ledgers, payments, GST taxes)
· Understanding of manufacturing process flow: BOM → Work Order → Job Card → finished goods
· Prior exposure to any ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Frappe/ERPNext, Tally, Zoho, MS Dynamics, etc.) is a strong plus
· Detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable following/writing structured test cases
· Good communication skills since you'll be interfacing with client requirements and internal dev teams
· Basic comfort with Excel/Sheets and any bug-tracking tool is a plus
