Job Role: SharePoint Online Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Online Administrator to manage, support, and maintain our Microsoft 365 SharePoint environment. The role involves handling user issues, site administration, automation, and supporting business requirements using SharePoint and related Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
Handle tickets and service requests within defined SLA timelines.
Manage SharePoint sites, site collections, permissions, navigation, hierarchy, and quotas.
Configure and maintain SharePoint Term Store, taxonomy, content types, and keywords.
Manage site administrators, sharing settings, policies, and records management.
Troubleshoot OneDrive for Business sync and data recovery issues.
Provide technical support to end users and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
Automate business processes using Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerShell.
Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Work with Microsoft Graph API and other Microsoft 365 technologies.
Support Microsoft Teams and Viva when required.
Participate in projects and take ownership of assigned tasks from planning through completion.
Work closely with users, internal teams, and external service providers.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, site management, permissions, and policies.
Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps, and automation.
Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API.
Experience with Term Store, taxonomy, content types, and records management.
Basic programming/scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, C#, .NET, or PnP.
Good understanding of OneDrive for Business.
Experience with Power BI for reports and dashboards.
Microsoft Teams/Viva experience is an added advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Location
Work from office – 5 days a week.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required by projects or business needs.
