About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can work in both Golang and Python, and can join immediately.
Golang is the priority skill. Python is also mandatory. The candidate must be comfortable working in both languages, with deeper strength and ownership on the Go side.
Experience with frameworks such as Gin and Django is a plus.
This role is for engineers who have built and operated real-world systems at scale, and who can handle architecture, reliability, performance, and production issues with ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services in Go and Python
Take primary ownership of Golang-based microservices and APIs
Work on Python-based services and backend modules as required
Build APIs and production services
Work with databases, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems
Analyze and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages
Contribute to system architecture and backend design
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and scalability
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional backend experience
Strong hands-on production experience in Golang is mandatory
Hands-on production experience in Python is also mandatory
Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems
Proven experience running backend systems in production
Strong understanding of system failure modes, bottlenecks, and outage scenarios
Backend-focused engineer with good infrastructure awareness
Must be able to join immediately

Experience with Django
gRPC, PostgreSQL, and async job processing
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
Observability, performance tuning, and reliability engineering
