Role Description This full-time, on-site Regional Manager role is based in Bangalore Urban and focuses on driving business growth and performance across the assigned region. The Regional Manager will oversee sales teams, agency partners, and distribution channels, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition targets. Responsibilities include planning and executing regional sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and providing regular coaching, guidance, and support to frontline managers and advisors. The role involves building strong relationships with bank partners and corporate clients, ensuring service quality, compliance with regulatory and company standards, and timely resolution of escalations. The Regional Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on product initiatives, marketing activities, and process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong regional sales management and business development skills, with experience in life insurance or financial services.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate multi-level teams to achieve and exceed performance targets.
Competence in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development with banks and corporate clients.
Solid understanding of insurance products, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices in the Indian market.
Analytical and strategic planning skills, including the ability to interpret data, forecast performance, and implement corrective actions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and local language preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in a regional or zonal leadership role in insurance, banking, or related financial services is highly desirable.
